This is only my second go around as an EVGA customer/stan.  Last time I got in fairly early...but I sort of remember the process being a bit smoother/up front.  The cards launch in less than 48 hours and the product pages aren't up yet?  This may be a move to counter bots and the like, but if that's the case I figure we could at least get the info on the cards in a forum post.  Specs, prices, etc....just doesn't seem like this is a real launch.

yeah, newegg had issues on first day of release of the 3080.  As stated before, not worth the bandwidth for these companies to carry for just a handful of busy days a year.

Awful lot of people talking about the Newegg server crashing today as they tried to buy their GPU’s. Hopefully the barrage of people slows down.

I plan on trying through Newegg anyway. I’m hoping that it will be somewhat less of an utter travesty. We will see I guess.

EVGA’s website is an utter joke and falters like a piece of wet single ply toilet paper any time that any stock goes live on the shop. It’s pathetic.

I have been reading reports of major retailers also having issues keeping up with demand of PS5 and Xbox pre-orders over the last few days. It seems with more people at home gaming is a much bigger interest. My girlfriend works from home and she is gaining an hour each day just in time she would commit to work normally. She also has been upgrading her computer and monitor since she is now using it for work as well.

Tell me about it. I live in NYC. My pre-coronavirus commute was about 3.5 hours a day, partly because I had to pick up my daughter from her after-school program on the way home. Without that, normal commute time was maybe 2 or 2.5 hours a day, and those times are if everything went smoothly, which often they did not. I'm absolutely loving working from home and not having to make that ridiculous commute every day, it's such a waste of life - and the whole time was spent standing on crowded subways and buses (and I mean crowded) so it wasn't like I could sit down and do anything constructive with that time.

That's why I take the LIRR. I just get on and take a nap until I get to Penn station. The only 2 hour+ commute I ever had in NYC was when I was working downtown coming from Queens. Where are you going / coming from? 

I'm in Brooklyn, work is downtown Brooklyn and occasionally in Manhattan, school is also in Brooklyn but it's like a huge triangle between my home, work, and the school. Commute involves both bus and subway, and a fair bit of walking too. As the crow flies it's not all that far, but it takes ages.

I work in Tampa, FL. I don’t waste 4 hours of my life driving to my office 😂 I could never do NYC. Would have to bring my Pc to work and just play it until rush hour is over

I wonder if a 3090 FTW3 Ultra model will even be available to order tomorrow?
 

Prob for 20-30 secs atleast.

The bestbuy 3090s seem to range between the 24th of September to 21st of October and 28th of October. I am wondering if we'll see anything tomorrow. Considering I'm also not a bot, I doubt anything is gonna happen but me waiting til after big navi to see any 3090s.
