3090 FTW3 Ultra high temps

Someone please help I have my 3090 installed in Lian Li O11D case on idle it’s reading 57C-59C when I’m playing games like rainbow six siege modern warfare and cyberpunk I’m getting about 83C I can’t seem to know what’s the problem

    How do your temps look after removing/opening the case door?

    I agree with removing the side panel, but that may only have a small effect.  The object is to make sure none of the hot air coming out of the top of the card toward the side panel is getting back into the intake cooling fans.
     
    With the side of the case off, the hot air blows a little downward and can still be sucked back into the cooling fans.

    The PC case for such a large video card makes a considerable difference in temps. I have the RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra and my peak under load temp is 72C, but I do have 15 fans running in a Corsair 1000D chassis. My ambient room temp is about 20C.

    I have the same setup, if its the standard O11 Dynamic then the side panel is indeed choking the card. My temps dropped 15-20C after removing the side panel. My suggestion is either buy a vertical mount to get it further from the glass or get a bigger case that has more clearance. The fact that you have to squish the cables with the glass should have been an indicator
