They don't call, they sent me an email with a link to pay online, but I couldn't complete the payment using their link so I called them.
As soon as you have your tracking number go on their web site and enter your tracking number. There'll be an option to sign up for shipment updates, do that. Once it's processed by Customs it'll say so in the tracking info and from then you can call in with your tracking number and pay owing taxes.

Does UPS call for tax payment once it arrives in Canada and clears customs before they send it out on a truck for delivery?
I'm not sure how Canada handles the duties, but when I import equipment into the US from the EU or China UPS will call the collect customs duties, but then I would have to contact the state revenue office and pay them the use taxes directly. You may want to call UPS and speak with their customer service so you are aware of how to handle importation cost.

If it says Pending Verification, you may want to call Sales. That is the accounting dept wanting to audit the order prior to approving it for shipping to prevent fraud orders. I had to call on mine because I used a business card and live on the other side of the country from the business.

Yes that was what the spreadsheet showed, and those were all for yesterday. Probably more than that shipped as not everyone is on the spreadsheet. There are more starting to come out today already too.

Thanks. I've got your associate code cookie saved in my browser. On launch day last year, I forgot to use one when I ordered my 2080 Super. I was in such a rush to get my order in before they sold out -- realized about 5 seconds after it went through that I had left about $40 on the table. D'oh!!!!!
