So I’m on my 3rd RMA lol and I’d like to avoid a 4th if needed. I booted my computer up yesterday and started a game (ff14) and suddenly saw an array of white squares on the bottom half of the screen, then the title screen loaded with many missing textures. I exited the game, and noticed on the desktop I was getting white squares on some areas. I restarted the game and my monitor went black and my pc restarted. Bluescreenview showed a big check code 119 with watchdog.sys as the culprit. Oddly I was able to play games for the rest of the night with no issues and I can’t replicate it (yet). My full system specs are R7 5800x, MSI b550 gaming plus mobo, 32 gb crucial ballistix ram 3600mhz, Corsair rm750x psu and 3080 ftw3 ultra. Im currently using nvidia driver 472.12. All of my drivers are up to date and it’s a relatively fresh install of Windows 10 without much installed.

Sounds like you’re gonna need to do another rma if the issue returns. I’m guessing you’ve installed new drivers with each new card you got back from rma?

Yes. I apologize for the formatting but I’m posting with my phone. I’ve DDU’ed and installed drivers every time I’ve changed cards. I also did a driver wipe/reinstall after the issue occurred. Problem has not resurfaced but I am not hopeful lol

I guess it's theoretically possible to get bad cards repeatedly, since they are all refurbs after the 30 day mark...
That is either some terrible luck or terrible testing on Evga's part...

Could be luck. First one lasted a week, the next soldiered all the way until December, then this one lasted *roughly* 3 weeks I think? Kinda sucks I don’t get the EAR option I paid for twice but it is what it is. Technical support basically started an RMA as soon as I got through to them.
