the hunt for the 3070ti gonna be chaotic. The 200 dollars difference to get the performance of a 3080 is like super good deal and valuable.
3080ti pricing is less to be desired but if the performance is almost to a 3090 then people would still flock to it.

I'm expecting the EVGA 3080 Ti line to fall right around $1400-1500 ish since that's about the same markup other launches have had over the FE prices.

I posted this earlier, but I wouldn't expect less than $1500 for the 3080 Ti. Just going by math and the current % increase from the 3080 FE to the FTW3 Ultra (3897) card:
the 3080 FE $699.99
3080 FTW3 Ultra (3897) $889.99
= +27% increase
3080 Ti FE $1199.99
+27% increase ~ $1525.71
Round up or down from there. The “Ti” premium would put it at $1549.99 or maybe a little higher at $1599.99. Round down, starts pricing around $1499.99.
Therefore, expect $1500 - $1600 for the FTW3 version from EVGA

Thank you for posting this image. No way to know for sure at the present, but this could be an extreme markup from this distributor. It will be interesting to see what EVGA posts as the $MSRP for the Ti versions. I’m hoping it’s a little cheaper.

The 3070ti definitely sounds like the better deal by far but nobody's paying attention to it.

Not arguing with ya, but I went back and watched the JTC video again. He started to give a price for the 3080 FTW3 Ti, then couched it as a “hypothetical” scenario compared to the 3090 FE $MSRP of $1499.99. So, either he slipped up and gave a price or it was just that, hypothetical.

Agreed Armathyx. I'd be happy if a 3070Ti managed to fall in my lap as people are distracted by the 3080Tis! Though I would also be thrilled to land a 3080Ti instead,...either one really.
