Hi guys,
Anybody had a success story replacing the FTW3 Ultra 3080 ti Evga front and backplate thermal pads?
I'm unable to find thermal putty around Malaysia hence i've to resort to use thermal pads.
I'm getting inconsistent result from searching it online
Some other forum mentioned they was success with the below result and some said they were using 1mm


3090/3080 FTW3 Pads:
1pcs: 7.7mm x 6.5mm x 2.75mm
2pcs: 53mm x 14mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 37.5mm x 14mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 15mm x 12mm x 2.25mm
1pcs: 110mm x 5mm x 2.5mm


3090/3080 FTW3 BP Pads:
2pcs: 51mm x 12mm x 2mm
1pcs: 38mm x 12mm x 2mm
1pcs: 14mm x 10mm x 2mm
So i would like to gain collective input on replacing the thermal pads for the 3080 ti.
On top of that i'm planning to get the ekwb ftw 3080/3090 nickel backplate for the GPU to reduce the temperature , is it recommended?
