SSR-1000TD isn’t the new TX 1000w aka SSR-1000TR. I believe the new TX platform will work great for you. I’m currently running the TX 1300w Titanium unit SSR-1300TR, and it’s able to power a 3090 & a 4090 running at the same time. 😎

Guess I'll find out what I have exactly on Friday from my first RMA. Mostly playing Spyro right now, FFXIV doesn't have much going on right this second that I'm invested in so not a huge deal. XIV seems to be the only thing that trips the shutdown.

With luck I get the RMA with TX model, and don't have to worry about the Vertex.
My UPS says I pull about 730W gaming and that is with a Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 so maybe more like 700W on just the tower. So I know 1000W is plenty.

I had to replace an old Seasonic 850 with a new Seasonic PRIME 1300 Platinum SSR-1300PD to get my power problems solved...

Yeah, Seasonic PSUs have issues with high transient loads. One would think that they would have fixed it after all these years, but it does not seem to be the case.

Yeah, NVIDIA GPUs have issues with high transient loads. One would think they would have fixed it prior, but it wasn't the case. Hopefully they will see what Intel did and take some pointers.

After an existential fist fight getting to the PSU label, it is a SSR-1000TR.
Time to fill out another RMA.

sorry for the necro but.. im in a bind. Running 3080Ti FTW, and I had one of these "bad" seasonic PSUs about 9 months ago that was OCP tripping.. so I went out and got a Dark Power Pro 12 1500, as the reviews from the PSU pros were really good, and was rated one of the top 3 PSUs on the market at the time. 9 months later, and I'm getting the same hard crashes as before. Event Viewer logging it as power failure so I'm confident Im running into the same thing again. But this time, I can't imagine that this PSU is unable to handle any transient spikes.
