Hi all,
I just received my 3080 ti ftw hybrid and it looks great.
Loving the performance boost but I'm a bit shocked by the noise coming from (presumably) the blower on the card.
It's pretty audible even through my closed over-ear headphones whilst gaming, way louder than my fan-cooled vega 64
Case setup:
- Meshify 2 compact
- Cpu aio on 3700x: front radiator, pull config taking air into the case
- Gpu: top exhaust (the included hybrid rad)
- Additional intake fan at bottom of case + exhaust fan at back of case
Everything is stock, so the bios is switched to non-OC. and didn't tinker with any settings yet.
It's my first water-cooled gpu so I'm not very sure what a good approach for fan curves etc would be and not sure how/in what way to distribute between the radiator fans and the blower
But to be honest, it sounds so loud, I kinda expect I made an error somewhere as it seems louder than what the 'stock' experience should be.
The intake fans are by default low rpm and increase by temp rise, maybe I should have them spinning harder to provide enough fresh air?
Are there any tips or perhaps EVGA precision profiles available in a topic somewhere or tips regarding undervolting?
I prefer quietness over a few marginal fps gains.
