Hello! Could someone with the Meshify C post pics of their 3080 FTW3 inside the case? I have an extra shroud that had some factory defects that I am looking at modding for the cables. I have a 2070 Super EVGA now and there is barely enough room for my two cables (8 and 6 pin) coming out the side Meshify C grommets. No way id get a third sleeved cable with a longer card. I am looking at putting a hole in the shroud and inserting a Phobya Oval Grommet and feeding all three PCIE cables from the bottom into the card, but I need to know where to cut the shroud. Below is the grommet I plan on using. I havent been able to find any pics of a 3080 FTW3 installed in a Meshify. Would also be good to see how others handled the cabling, as this case is really reaching its limits as far as graphics card length goes with these newer cards.
Thanks!

Hey, I just ordered my 3080 FTW3 through Step-Up. I also have a Meshify-C case. I wonder if you ever managed to complete this project, and if so, did it work out? Where did you end up cutting?
I'd be happy to find out more about this, before I receive my 3080 and try installing.
Thanks!

Yea, I did. The left most cable connector is about 7/8" from the back of the plate give or take (You can use the "F" in the case logo as a reference point). I had to put the grommet as close to the front of the plate as possible but you have to take into account the folded lip on the edge. I actually put mine too close and the grommet ends up touching the lip and slips. Right now computer is disassembled but I threw together these for reference. Even at the edge the cables slant inward, so if I had to do it again id have gone further in (on the side). Your cable/connector situation could be different.
I just used a 1" hole saw on each side and connected them with a dremel metal cutoff bit. I stuck a card in the grommet to get its depth, it was .15, and subtracted that from the width of the grommet which was 1.30" to deduce it was 1" hole needed, and its radius was a perfect circle.
My cables are very stiff and I was able to route them over the GPU and into the Meshify C vertical grommets, but in the end it was putting a lot of tension on the connector and blocked the fan. I couldn't get them flat like the above poster.
Edit: Couldnt upload images via EVGA, but here there are elsewhere:

I've been spending too much time on Reddit, it's soooo nice to see a couple FTW3's properly setup with good airflow in a smaller case.
There is hope.
