3080 FTW Ultra Hybrid Kit Install

Do I need to flash the BIOS to enable the pump and fans?
Installed the kit today but fans not working and card jumps to 70°c after a minute or so then keeps climbing until I shut it off.
Instructions I got were for the kit install on the board only nothing else is explained.
 
Update: Pulled apart and found cable had detached from Cooler, but fans still not spinning up but they do power up when system turns on.

    Which BIOS? Normal or OC?

    No, they will work fine with the normal FTW Ultra Bios. But you can follow this instruction if you want to convert. h t t p s ://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3183397

    Is there a controller you need to attach to your motherboard?

    The Hybrid shouldn't require a Bios flash for the fans to work but you may need to either return your mobo and get a new one for more efficient compatibility. If you go down this route I recommend using a budget board for a mid-tower case. The  would be perfect if you're looking for one.
