I got a 3080 FTW about 2.5 weeks ago. Downloaded the newest drivers via Geforce Experience. Works fine playing games and using the computer. Great 3DMark scores. It's the only hardware change I've made to the computer since it was built about 3 years ago.
I've been having problems when either my monitors have gone to sleep or when the computer has gone to sleep though. The computer looks like it's woken back up but there is no output to the monitors, or sometimes there is output but it's a BSOD.
When I would manually reset the computer I sometimes get a message "Scanning and repairing drive (C:)" while booting up. This made me think something could be wrong with the SSD. I used BlueScreenView to check out the dumps and they are all "watchdog.sys" and "FLTMGR.SYS" driver errors. Google says this can often be caused by display drivers.
So I think it is more likely that this is related to the 3080 and it's drivers than a disk issue but it's a little confusing trying to troubleshoot. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks for any ideas/direction.
Edit: I haven't overclocked or made any alterations to the 3080.
