I was wondering what kind of FPS you are getting.

8700k 5ghz 3080 FTW3 im getting 130s to 150s FPS.

Is this normal?

It would help if you provided your full Warzone in-game settings too.

All max settings 1440p. I was expecting more fps.
I installed the 450w bios and overclocking now.

I looked at some benchmarks of that game for the 3080 using a 10850k..what is your RAM speed? Benchmarks on High Settings were doing 160-180...I haven't played any COD game ever so I dunno if in this incarnation "high" settings is "max" settings.

I think your FPS are fine for all max settings.  I can't think of anyone who is playing multiplayer battle royale games running max settings.  I'd look through these pages.

The game isn't optimized the best unfortunately. My 8700k fluctuates too much in Warzone at 1080p (110-200), and I'm not at max settings with a 3080 (although, tbf, I can't reach 5ghz stable and not hitting max GPU usage so I've got a CPU bottleneck, so I'm just waiting on an upgrade to a 5900x)

    AMD Ryzen 9 5900X w/ EK Elite 360 AIO | TridentZ RGB 3600 | EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3 Ultra | WD SN850 1tb + SN750 1tb | EVGA 850 T2 | Corsair 5000X | Alienware AW2721D

This is normal. I upgraded from a RTX2070FTW Ultra Super to the 3080FTW3 Ultra and I have around the same FPS you do.
    A little higher in multiplayer.

When I had the 2070 I was in the 90-120 consistent and with the 3080 I now have 120 at spikes and usually around the 140-160 consistent range in Warzone

Both on maxed out settings, the only difference is my CPU is the 9700K 4.7GHz

TBH I notice a difference on the 3080 when I zoom in I can clearly see thru unshattered windows and dark areas. Its more crisp IMO without having to wait for the foreground to load in.

All the benchmarks where people were doing 160-180 we're from about a month ago. As if some update came out and lowered the frame rate.

    My ram speed is 3000MHz C15 2x16gig.

I got a stable OC on the 3080. +75 core +200 on memory. Max boost to 2070 mhz.

Weird, I'm getting like 180-190 on RTX 3090 on Low settings.
I should be getting like 220+ no?

On 1440p with all low settings your GPU isn't going to be utilized 100%.  At least in my test it was not, the CPU was the bottleneck and flat lined at 100%.  This is why there is the claim the 3090 is not for gaming.  The marginal increase in most gaming systems for 1080p/1440p won't be recognized because you cannot get the performance out of most CPU.

You rocking a i9-50900k there or something? I have never seen COD WZ run that low on a CPU.  I'd suggest loading up gpu-z, hwmonitor, hwinfo or another tool like those and analyze the gpu / cpu utilization and see what you can come up with.  The FPS will fluctuate as you move around the map, it's just the nature of the game.

Looks like nvidia focused on 4k when designing this GPU series. Kind of stupid when most people are not playing on 4k. In the past it was marketing high refresh rate gaming and now they stopped.

If AMD does much better with 1440p I might sell the 3080 but who will buy it when a new AMD card will be the same price as a used 3080.

The only hope is if nvidia comes up with 3080 ti on TSMC and we can step up.
I'm not saying 3080 is slow but for the price compared to AMD it should do much better at 1440p.

I think they got side tracked with AI, self driving cars, and quite frankly, free money from crypto currencies.   They've had a monopoly, and you get a bit lazy in those situations.  10XX series and 20XX series were flying off the shelves for crypto hashing.  Their revenue tripled from 2005 through half way in 2017 (12.5 years).  Then from 2nd half of 2017 to 2020 it doubled (3.5 years).  (See https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3129542) Companies and consumers have just been throwing money at them the last few years.

Unfortunately Intel got lazy too with their monopoly and new CPUs are virtually the same as existing CPUs.  It will be interesting to see what new players entering the spaces and old players (AMD) who are rejuvenated can do to spark some innovation in the next few years.

    i9 9900K 5.1GHz my guy.
And haha, I guess so? I'll check with the usage later to confirm this.
And also, yeah.. I'm getting around that 180-190fps mark, sometimes 160~ depends where I'm at..

But when I look up the sky I get 200fps but never above that.

Ofcourse, Multiplayer gives me more than 260-280 or 300 sometimes.. it's fun.
