No serial number given so does this mean its the same card or was it replaced?   What was wrong with the card?  The RMA was closed so I cant ask for details.  On the bright side, it should be returned by Friday.  Process was easy, just set me back $50 and 2 weeks total from time of gpu issue to time of projected return.
 
 
But I would really like to know what the issue was and if the card is same or replaced.   TY

This happened to me as well when I got my 3090 replaced.
The S/N will show up a little bit late.

EVGA will auto-register your new card (usually it is replaced). If your RMA was just completed today, wait till tomorrow morning (around 10 am ET), you will probably get an email in the following format: 
"Thank you for your patience with using EVGA’s RMA service to replace your EVGA product for Warranty or Step-Up. For your convenience, the replacement shipping to you has been automatically registered to your account.

The serial number (insert number here) is the product which was shipped to you under Replacement RMA Number (insert number here).
etc etc"
 
Regarding what was wrong with the card, maybe you can try to call them or send another ticket asking what did the RMA team find out.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.   EVGA is really fast with the replacement.  Did you find out what caused your need to replace?  I am just curious.  My guess is a ball bearing was dead on the fan but it could have been more.   Anyway thanks.
 
 
And TY EVGA, still love evga gpus.   3 of my last 4 gpus were evga and I dont see me leaving the evga fan club anytime soon.

I do not know what cause mine to fail. My computer suddenly won't boot with it installed.
EVGA also claim it failed the their test, so they replace it at the same day they received the RMA.
