so i just clicked on notification for the 3080 12gb
"Dear Valued Customer,
This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 12G-P5-4877-KL.
You will be sent a notification email once this product becomes available."
does this mean i have a place in queue and will get one in the next (decade) hopefully, or it just notifes you it's available and you have to click on it within a few milliseconds?
sorry but not really knowledgeable about this stuff

You are in the queue and you will get an email when you are at the top of the queue. You will have 24 hours after receiving the email to make the purchase.

In short, you will no longer be able to antiscipate or track a notification general date due to its now ambiguous nature of selection. I like the and praise that 3.0 would afford a person looking to find their first or bi - yearly upgrade first shot. However, I hate being a slave to checking my email for a notification I have no idea of when will arrive. Its just painstakingly uncomfortable. If EVGA would just work as dilligantly to impliment a way to notify a customer by a series of SMS texts... when a notification is whithin 100, for example, of the real notification. I mean it just software for cryin out loud. This would make the anticipation worlds better.

How where you able to click the notification link, for me it shows up as temporally disabled.

Sorry my response was to the OP's question. You missed the small window of time that the Auto Notify button was available. (from what I am seeing it was there for about 90 minutes) Maybe it'll open up again in the future.

I think it was open a lot less then 90 minutes, I have been on the page for the about the past hour or more. Closing the page, then reopening it. Unless it closed down just before I went to the page.

dunno if being evga elite member helps, btw only notification for the more expensive version is available
