How does this card really behaves in terms of noise (coil whine and fan spinning) ? Your input will be much appreciated.

My son is using that card & he hasn't complained-nor have I heard it making much noise.
As always though, it's kind of luck of the draw

As noted in the other thread...
No coil whine on my 3785 XC3 Ultra (Seasonic Focus GX-850). My friend has the 3797 FTW3 Ultra (Corsair RM850x) and reports no coil whine.

I have a ftw3 ultra and it make no coil wine. Ensure you have a quality power supply and you should be good to go.
Seems like these 30 series cards are very finicky about getting quality power from the power supply.

my 3797 has a loud 3rd fan ... had to configure a special fan curve for it...
Once the 3rd fan hits around 50% or higher , it's unbearable ....
10700, msi z590 mb ,16gig ram, 3070ti ftw3 ultra, win 10 , crucial m.2's

I’ve heard that some PSUs cause GPU coil whine, but I have several EVGA GPUs that exhibit it even after having experimented with different PSUs from different reputable brands such as Corsair and EVGA, all ranging from 80+ gold to 80+ titanium. I’ve also used stock PSU cables as well as individually-sleeved aftermarket ones. The cards still whine.

well, I have the latest firmware ... 1.2.6 ...
I don't think it's coil whine , but it could be, not going to buy another power supply to test
using evga 850 bq ps..
as long as I have that 3rd fan stay below 60% speed, I can handle noise.. but I haven't run any demanding games yet either, just benchmarks and stress tests.. , maybe when I buy a game that pushes gpu , say like CP2077 or metro exodus enhanced, the fans might not hit 60% anyways.
I'm sure there will be some game sales soon .. still have about a month left to stepup too..

Omg I got 3070 ti ftw as well and I can hear the coil whine. I'm using the NZXT h1 case with the included rebranded seasonic 650W PSU.
I have lodged to have it replaced with my retailer but currently waiting on stock. I used to have a 3080 ultra which did not whine but I sold it for extra cash.

Yes mine has coil whine 3070 TI FTW3 I have a 750 Watt CoolerMaster power supply I'm running on PCI express 3
Should be able hear it on this link.
How do you fix it? It's annoying

Will the power link work on these cards to clean and make power stable or reduce noise?
It doesn't have these cards listed.
