    Good luck.

Yeah, when $1,500 - $1,800 RTX 3090 is nowhere to be found, what chances are to get $500 card? Zero, Nada, Zilch.

Does this card show that the ampere ray tracing claims are vapourware??

I don't know how much market overlap there is between those two cards. The 3070 is not the droid I'm looking for, so at least one less person is trying to buy a 3070.

    The 29th looks like: https://www.nvidia.com/en...-available-october-29/

As to the performance - seems right there with a 2080 Ti, stock to stock at least, so not too shabby at all for 1/2 (or less) the price.

Definitely the sweet spot for 1440p and similar gaming, unless you are into competitive with > 144Hz screens.
