Hello folks, I've recently finally upgraded my GPU from 2 EVGA 970's in SLI to a 3070. The problem is the card seems to be a ghost, it doesn't show up in device manager at all. When I power the PC on the lights on the card light up, the fans spin but it doesn't provide any video out. I've tried uninstalling my drivers with DDU and installing the newest ones, if I do this with the new card in it says I have no supported hardware. I've tried using the 2nd PCIE slot and that does nothing. I originally had one power cable going to both 8 pin inputs, I tried using different cables for each input as well and it doesn't make a difference. I am kind of at a loss here.

Do you have the latest BIOS for your motherboard?
Is your PCIEx16 slot set to "AUTO" for its speed

Sounds like it may be time to check the card out in another pc. Do you have the igpu disabled on your motherboard?

At the time of posting I didn't have the BIOS updated, I do know. The PCI-E speed setting was set to "AUTO", I've tried it with "AUTO", "Gen1", and "Gen2" which are all the options available to me. The problem persists with no discernible differences.

Edit: PCIEx16_1 Link Speed is not PCI-E speed (I'm not really familiar with BIOS stuff, this is a deep dive for me)
PCIEx16 is set to "AUTO" as well with Gen 1-3 options available. I'm not sure what I should do with these.

I can't find igpu in the BIOS menu.

Look on the I/O panel on the motherboard at the back of your PC. Does it have an HDMI port (or even an old-school VGA port)? If not, your motherboard may not support iGPU.

Edit: I just checked Google for images of your mobo. Looks like it supports DVI instead of VGA or HDMI. Does your monitor support DVI and do you have a DVI cable?

2nd edit: This may help you find the iGPU setting. https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1017796/

Inside the bios goto the advanced menu then to the graphics configuration menu, and then set the primary display option from AUTO to PCI-E.
