Pretty sure this is true. I expect that the 3080-12GB will get a silent price cut in the near future. The advantage of not publishing an MSRP. Please, no rebates.

There's a seller on Ebay who has 8 EVGA RTX 3080 ti, that all end in the morning and the starting bid is going to be a Net loss of 23 $ if they paid MSRP * not including shipping* and NONE have a single bid, The worm is definitely turning.

I am building a water cooled rig. My first ever. Bending hardline is no easy task. That said if a evga 3090 hydro copper shows up I want one. I have a 3080 TI but really don't want to put a waterblock on it.

if the queue wasn't empty for those models then it's really a slap to the face for anyone that actually wanted one but doesnt check the forums 24/7.
Though the HC 3080 12G is still in stock, but probably discouraging for most people due price and need for custom cooling. 3080Ti HC is a much better buy for only a little more, IMO. hopefully anyone in a queue for the HC card see's that it's available.

Regardless of any official MSRP they sell the chip and VRAM to AIBs for a certain amount which sets the floor on what it can be sold for. They may also have agreements about minimum advertised pricing.

Stings I bought the 3090 from the configurator a week ago. Box came squished a little and was told to open it up to check for damage.. so now I can't return it without fear of paying 15% on the bundle. :/ Have not used it too.. :/ Didn't have a chance to test out the card till today cause of bday parties over the weekend. I have to tear apart my water cooling just to get it in there and teat it.

Depends on what resolution you're playing at on how much the 3080 12GB will beat your 2080 Ti. I personally would keep the three 8-pin power connectors on three different power cables. If you have an Associate Code, why are you not advertising it?
