Hello everyone, first time posting here so bare with me. I just finished rebuilding my PC. Im running 2x 2080ti FTW3 water-cooled with hydro copper blocks. Thermal grizzly paste. MSI X299 Creation Mobo, 64g of G.skill 4266 RAM, i9-9900x CPU, 1250W irgb PSU. So for whatever reason, Running SLI on these cards my computer will crash. Running the cards separate not on SLI they work, But my FPS in pretty much all games is awful. My old 1080ti ran much better. Im on a clean install of windows 10 pro and up to date on my video drivers. Any help or any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum Test Each Card one at a time. Make sure you are using 2 Separate PCIe Power Cables to EACH GPU for a total of 4 Cables. I have 2 of the same and one can only run @ 2025MHz and the Other at 2205MHz. The slow card will cause the fast card to the lower settings and run at about 2055MHz Stable for Gaming. Did you test and run the Cards Before you installed the Hydro Copper Water Blocks. High Cost but can you test with another NVLink SLI Bridge? What NVIDIA Driver Version are you running? What Version of Windows 10 are you running? After testing Each card set the Best one as your Primary Graphics Card to include putting it in the PCIe Slot that is Next to the CPU Socket. I went through this with my SLI Setup. Some Motherboard have a dipswitch to Disable a PCIe Slot like the X299 Dart Motherboard. If you can do this and remove the Power Cables to the Card you are not using in the Testing. Not all Games Support SLI and not knowing the Graphics Driver Version and OS Version also makes it hard to troubleshoot.

So running each card by itself they work, but the performance is lacking. On 4K optimized on valley Im getting low 7k benchmarks.(Ive seen people with less performing rigs pull in 14k+ scores). I can push my stronger card to 1000mhz memory overclock and around 100 to the gpu and it runs just fine. But my scores are still horrible and I struggle to reach 60fps in pretty much everything I play. Driver version is 430.64 my Windows is on 1803. I had a reputable local shop build my PC as I didnt have time to do all the hard piping. I believe he tested these cards, as the first time around I was sent two DOA cards and then was sent new RMA cards. My first thought was a bad bridge, I ordered a new one but still same issue. So the stronger of my cards is the one furthest from the CPU socket. Some other odds issues, if my pc is plugged into this card on bootup it wont even start. To even boot my pc it has to be on the weaker card which is the one closest to the cpu. Ive been having some odd issues lol.

Run Fire Strike and Time Spy and Post links to your Scores. Do Not Overclock your Graphics Cards for this round of Benchmarking. Run a round with SLI and one on each card, all you need to do is move the Video Cable to the Card you are Benchmarking. Driver 425.31 seems to be the Best Overall Driver ATM Leave off the first part https://

I dont know if a 1250 watt psu is enough for 2 2080ti ftw3 ultra cards and the 9900k.
Isint that like close to 800watts alone peak for both cards total at power limit?

I will do the same to keep the Thread Clean I did just dump driver 430.64 and went back to 425.31 https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/7254155/spy/7254011 Your Booting to 1,935 MHz Can your Cooling on the CPU handle 4800MHz? I am starting up my FTW3 Rig for better comparison.

Sounds like one of the cards may have a faulty sli finger. Test both the cards in another known good working system to confirm.

Is Windows set to Performance ? What have you changed from the defaults in Nvidia control panel ? Is that pesky XBox DVR stuff turned Off .... Microsoft has it On by default. How to Disable Windows 10’s Game DVR (and Game Bar)
1200 Watts should be fine .... depending on the CPU watts if it is OC I'm Running dual 2080 Ti in my RTX Project on the EVGA 1200 W PSU .... pushing cards Hard & under 800 W

Game mode is on. High performance is on. DVR is off. Trueplay off. Seperate pcie cables, but they are extended.

fallencc This is my SLI run on Time Spy - www.3dmark.com/3dm/36296470?
Wow, that is way off. I get like 27k on the graphics score at stock settings on my gpu's, and I don't even have a pair of FTW3's.

drive.google.com/drive/folders/14PFPAK0pOSKp5FPlsA8dOv04WVRimfgQ Hey there, attached the screenshots in that drive, as well as the full log file from gpuz as the benchmark was running. In that drive theres also the logfile from HWINFO64, as well as screenshots of that after a previous benchmark I had performed.
