    2142 was about as far from the good ole days as it gets for me.
    Hated it.
     
    BF2 was my favorite of the series and is available from that same website you linked.
     
    Either way, it's really cool people stepped up to support these classics after gamespy went away.

    Revive, got it, for both great games in my opinion, not as goofed up as todays BF's.

    Man, that's for sure. Too bad all my stats, awards, and friends list is gone Took me forever to get that stupid gold titan destruction award. Loved the game though.

    Yeah I kind of thing back in the day Gamespy was relied on a bit to heavy as the backbone for so many games and really true innovation should have came from the game publishers to support the brands. Had they wanted we would have seen so much more I feel. Gamespy was good back in the day but by 2000 it was starting to be developers and publishers being lazy.
