STR1D3R_2, it looks like the majority of your work was put in after the points were applied to last month's total, so you weren't adversely effected like those of us who were folding straight from the start of the month.  My points are still goofed.

You are correct. I have had my rigs off since the 1st week of may for renovations (youngest moved out, building me a music studio) and didnt want saw/sheetrock dust clogging things up. Nearly done with the reno now so I fired things up gradually and ran a few rigs at a time but this heat... uhh

The 1st 4m+ went to july even though my rigs were off lol.

Sounds good, thanks for the update. I'm at 21.8mil. I think it would be a good idea to crank out another 2mil for safe measures, lol.

Just checking in as these issues do arise from time to time and are usually sorted by the end of the month ;)

Mine has now started to fill but I noticed that 10mil of this months points are in last months count.

Is there still currently something being worked on?

I will most certainly wait until closer to the months end before emailing them.

    Cheers all

Pretty sure they're still working on it.
I don't think we've ever seen them not fix an issue with points yet, it just takes a while for them to get the data processed correctly since Stanford has/had issues.

To be fair I think the issue definately lays with stanford as my folding client as recently stopped estimating bonus points, it's quite painful to see my folding client say I'll be earning 172786 ppd :( on this current fold, base credit 29000, estimated credit 29000

And I did shut down for a week this month while on holiday lol

^^^ +1 I had just noticed this on my folding rig. I usually just let it run and check it occasionally. That is very strange to see, I'm used to seeing a million or so PPD. .

They're changing the calculation method in that the k-factor is becoming a permanent 0.75 instead of a variable that can change from WU to WU.

    https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=106&t=31758

So, until they update the client to reflect that change,  it's only going to report base numbers.  Correction, it looks like the Work Server software is getting updated so the newest version handles the points the same way they used to, so things SHOULD be returning to normal soon.

However, if you use HFM.NET, that HAS been updated to reflect the change and reports accurate averages again.

    https://github.com/harlam357/hfm-net

    Hope this info helps.

Don’t look at the rigs PPD. Look at the credited PPD after the tracking sites have updated. The difference in numbers is huge.

it seems that the client doesn't know the bonus thus doesn't tell you.

But once it uploads it tells you a better estimate

    12:46:41:WU01:FS01:Upload complete
    12:46:41:WU01:FS01:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
    12:46:41:WU01:FS01:Final credit estimate, 187921.00 points

That was for one ~38000 base

Exactly. Only the estimated PPD has been disabled. Final credit is not based on the PPD shown in the client while the work unit is still active.

You can definitely tell that some servers are reporting bonus points and some are not with multiple cards running. Low ppd on a client really means nothing just like when the point system goes down on a holiday.

Check your "My Folding" for points correction and Request Button enabled, it appears it just been corrected. I hope it has been fixed for all active Folding members.
EVGA comes through as usual. Thanks EVGA!!!
