Has anyone noticed the drivers recently from NVIDIA are causing a performance loss with the card?  I play PUBG and I do get some frame drops plus the response time feels different with Low latency on Ultra. It felt a bit more smooth before they included the BAR and Reflex tech.

nothing wrong with the driver. Have 2080ti ftw3 my self clocked at 2205 and +1300 on memory. no frame drops etc.

If you dont have G-sync display, Get one asap.

Usually the newest ones are the best, and if they arent, theyll be fixed pretty soon after. Nvidia does pretty good on assuring quality on new drivers, and fixing the bugs if there are bad ones.

Are you sure that the problem is in the video card and drivers?
If I were you, I would run some tests.
1. Make sure of the nominal CPU frequencies or that there is no overclocking or it is very correctly configured.
2. Used the Display Driver Uninstaller program
3. Also, after uninstalling using the utility, I installed several different versions and watched the stability in the game.
4. Took another SSD (if any), install just a clean system and observe the same way.
Be careful with increasing CPU and GPU frequencies, this often leads to an unstable game. It's one thing the numbers in the marks, another in the gameplay.

Always the lastest drivers are the better, but if you asking this because you want a "lite" version with no bloatware or "heavy" drivers, then, you can try using NVCleanstall from techpowerup download page.
