Is this for real? Faster FPS and cooler?  If it is, why aren't we all undervolting our cards?

Well, overclocking is technically undervolting. You are increasing frequency on same voltage - or making less voltage for same frequency.
Plus in terms of this video - I think it is bottlenecked in something, you cant just get same results on various gpu performance.

    Real? Yes.
Why aren't we all? Not all cards are stable with an undervolt.

A manufacturer adds some extra voltage to ensure stability for the masses and ensure a low RMA rate. That extra voltage might be 150 mV. If you can take some of that voltage back out, the card will run cooler, use less power, and may be able to sustain higher clocks due to less heat. Or, it might be unstable and crash.

    Everyone should try for themselves.

If you don't worry about your electricity bill, and if you have an aftermarket cooler -- such as water cooling -- you might not find a benefit to undervolting. If you are using the stock air cooler, on the other hand, you might find a benefit to undervolting.

Thanks! Sounds like I should give it a go and see what happens.   Can physical damage occur with undervolting?  How long should a stress test go for to determine your undervolt is stable?   Precision or MSI software to try it?

He should have just compared his normal max gaming overclock, not stock clocks with the power limit up.  Not many cards are going to be stable at 2100mhz at 1v.

So say I want to stick with 1980mhz but undervolt for some cooler effect, what would you recommend I set the power to in MSI?
