Was recently playing call of duty on maxed settings rtx off @1440p 144hz and my card wouldn’t get above 39 degrees.
Afterburner OSD showed that it was boosting to 2130mhz with +120 on core clock and a memory clock of +900.
I also noticed the fps was hovering at 119fps instead of the usual 143-144 I get. Only used precision x1 to overclock.
Settings are maxed power, gpu temp, voltage and also the above mentioned 120 and 900 to core and memory.
Have tried uninstalling gpu drivers with DDUI, uninstalling GeForce experience, restoring to default nvidia control centre.
Am in need of advice on what I should do next :(
Edit: also remembered that today I tried overclocking the core to +150 and boost locking it, because I thought it would prevent the game from crashing. Argh, why did I have to do that!!
Edit 2: turned off the pc, unplugged the psu cable, held the power button for 30 seconds, boom, gpu running at mid-high 40’s now like it always does. Will just have to live with 120 core and 900 memory 🙂
