Hey guys, I've got a new card here and it's been causing some issues, ie crashes games I play the most, without overclocking. Destiny 2 gives me the broccoli (GRAPHICS RUNTIME DETECTED A CRASH OR LOSS OF DEVICE) error while Battlefield 5 gave me the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED code although I play that a lot less often. The card is seated correctly. Temps within range. Tried another PSU without effect. Is anyone else having this issue? Appears slightly underclocking solves or markedly diminishes the chance of a crash happening at least on the D2 side so is it the software? Trying to decide if an RMA would fix anything. Thank you.

I am having all kinds of trouble with mine. It crashes on anything graphically demanding. Normal or OC bios. Reverted to 417.01 and it had no effect, it did stop me from seeing a BSOD pertaining to high frame rate monitors. I usually dont see a crash message it just freezes with all kinds of artifcats. Once it freezes, I have to hard power cycle. Once it restarts I have issues rebooting. It crashes once I log in. If i ever actually make it, it Geforce Experience is gone and so are my drivers.

That's terrible, sounds like you have a definite RMA there friend.

Would be helpful to know if anyone around here plays D2 on their FTW3 and if they're seeing these types of errors. Suppose I need to play a variety of other titles and see if I'm seeing more crashes to come to a conclusion whether to RMA my card?

I have been getting the same errors with BF 5,  It has everything to do with the driver updates. I found that under-clocking the Memory by -100 to -200 helped, but mainly making sure the target power is maxed out has helped the most

Thank you. Tried bumping the power to max and getting the bios update. Still got a device removed crash in Destiny.
Anyone else play D2 here that has similar crashes? It sucks to think I have to underclock to get this under control. Shouldn’t be the case.

2080ti FTW 3 here. My card started displaying artifacts last night  and Windows rolled back the driver itself.
Had a bunch of green dashes all over the screen after the PC rebooted itself.
Primarily play Destiny 2. Totally unacceptable for something this pricey. There is clearly something going on with these cards still.

I have had that happen as well. What helped was switching the power supply to single rail if you have a Corsair PSU.
I just had 2 device removed crashes in D2 and 3 crashes in BF5 without an error message. Pains me to say that this card was supposed to be the centerpiece of my new build which I probably wouldn’t have gone through with had I known it's so buggy. Will either return to retailer or RMA with EVGA but who's to say next one won't be the same?

EVGA is doing an advanced RMA as tech supp said if Windows is rolling back driver the card is defective. According to them RMA rates for these are within normal range. This is starting to feel like the ROG Swift panel lottery.

Is that with cross ship so you don't have to have a system without a GPU? Did they say how long to get your replacement? Thanks

Mine is getting a Advanced RMA too. I didnt mention it the specifics but one if the artifacts I was seeing was purple-ish color dashes all over the screen.

When I started OCing mine I couldn't even see half what others were getting. I know EVGA doesnt guarentee anything past what they OC'ed it to. However, if the majority are getting at least double of what I was seeing, I clearly had a weak spot somewhere.

    Hello,

Please try updating Nvidia Control Panel's Power Management setting to reflect "Prefer Maximum Performance". For some reason, I am finding this to be the fix to this particular issue with Battlefield 5 and Destiny 2.

Please let me know if this does / does not work for you.

It is a cross ship but considering the current gpu is as good as a brick....

Just means you will get a replacement faster as they don't have to wait to receive the bad one.

I wasn't even oc'ing mine. Lasted all of 2 weeks.

Same issue as everyone else in here.  Never OC'ed mine at all.
Card worked great for about a week and then I started to have crashing in BF5.  White flashes on screen with little tiny green dots everywhere.
Then I started having crashes on Black Ops 4.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will not make it thru the benchmark without crashing after the white flashes and green dots start. Every decent triple A game I have crashes either right away or has artifacts in the first few minutes and freezes if I don't back out of game quickly.
DXGI ERROR DEVICE RESET is my most common crash message among others.
Tried every fix I could find in every forum on here from all the top guys in these forums along with every fix possible on the internet for these cards.
Started my cross ship RMA Friday and hoping new card will ship sometime tomorrow.
I have faith in EVGA and the customer support was great with this RMA.
Fingers crossed my next card is perfect. =)
    Good luck to you all.

The thing is if the RMA game keeps going past 30 days then it will just be replaced with a refurbished unit instead of a brand new one.

Started having crashes with colorful dots all over the screen after just minutes in BF5 and D2.
Got the RMA approval, will be here next week. Went back to my 1080 ti FTW3 no issues whatsoever, wish these new cards could be so problem free!

I'm also experiencing these device hang and device removed errors.  i9-9900k @ 4.8, 2080ti FTW3 Ultra +114 gpu (vf tuner recommendation) / +700 mem. windows 10, latest px1, card bios, windows, nvidia drivers. have done plenty of clean driver installs.

with these clocks it passes hours of 3dmark / memtest / prime95 tests

it typically happens after a few hours of gaming / streaming. i'm going to try gaming at stock settings to see if i can reproduce.
