I have my 2080Ti FTW3 until a Hydrocopper block max temps it ever sees is 42C, at +90 Core +500 mem. I have been getting constant screen flickering... it seems fairly irregular; randomly on the desktop or even after exiting a game. I have tried several driver variants and I am currently on 417.71. G-Sync on; Alienware 34" and Dell 27DGR. Both set to 120hz.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Did you completely scrub the driver with DDU before install? That's what it took for my ftw3 to stop flickering.

Still some flickering for me with Displayport and HDMI. This after doing DDU and fresh installs of drivers. Kinda saddening at the moment.

I get some flickering on both my monitors, however only when I am gaming in VR with my Rift. Once I close out the Rift software no more flickering on monitors. Something about adding that third display when Rift software starts is causing this apparently for me.
It is not that big a deal for me as obviously when I am gaming n VR I am not looking at my monitors.

Close out any other running software just encase it could be something else conflicting and causing it.
Close evga's px as well.
Also run with just 1 monitor at a time just encase one of them is going or the cable that's cutting out the signal and windows is sensing a new screen connecting.

Just read the newest driver is causing screen flickering with g-sync with the monitors on clone mode. So no idea if your running both screens at the same time in clone mode.. maybe the same issue was going on in the older drivers as well.

The same thing started happening with mine today both before i installed the latest drivers and with the latest drivers installed. Since about 6 hours ago it's been occasionally have a single black flicker and then the image is back up. Not sure what's going wrong with it, had the card less than a month but it's doing it on the desktop, nothing strenuous running. Edit: upon further review it was due to a heating pad I hooked into the same power strip/outlet as my tower and monitor. Noticed the power band at the bottom of the monitor flickering with the screen, and moving my heating pad to another outlet fixed the problem. That's probably not helpful for the OP, though.

I have exactly the same issue. Keeps appearing ever since I started using my new 2080 TI FTW3. DDU didn't help. Single screen didn't help. I never have had issues with the same screens/cables and my previous GPU. Both screens connected over DisplayPort.

I decided to another set of displayport cables, still having this problem and now some solid black screens from time to time. Feelsbadman. Looking more and more like RMA time unfortunately.

I just got a replacement 2080 ti FTW3. I had the 3 red led issue and middle fan at 100% on the previous card. It was rma'd and replaced with a brand new card. I'm using the exact same monitor and display port cable and now I'm getting a flicker on the new card. It usually only happens once while I'm watching a youtube video. Weird! I doubt it's the cable or monitor. Kind of annoyed at all the issues I've been having lately.

Gsync is was already off. The monitor is an ASUS PG279Q. The only thing different is a new 2080 ti FTW3 and I did use the latest PX software and Nvidia drivers.

Not yet, but I just may try an hdmi cable. I don't have any other dp cables.

I don't know if this is what the OP is experiencing but in AC Odyssey when I adjust the volume wheel on my keyboard my screen flickers black 2-3 times...

Well I forgot to check on my own thread, received my first RMA which was poorly put back together, cross-threaded screws etc; lead to another RMA and now I have another... which apparently likes to have the mem2 and mem3 hitting 84C+ regularly with the air cooler, going to pull it apart and see what is going on there... before I put it under water again. I want it to at least work properly before doing that. BigART71

Yeah, most problems I have ever had with any GPU here, unlucky but the performance that it yields is amazing. Wish I got a new replacement, both of my replacement cards were refurbs.

This issue has been ongoing for me since April when I built my brand-new rig. So far, I am beyond convinced it is the GPU (which I will be returning/exchanging this week). When it began, I had an Acer Predator X34P monitor. I did extensive troubleshooting - uninstalled (with DDU) and reinstalled the drivers, enabled/disabled ever setting (G-Sync, V-Sync, etc.), adjusted screen resolutions and refresh rates, bought better quality "certified" Display and HDMI cables, tried each DisplayPort. The only way I could get it to stop flickering was to change the resolution to 60Hz or less. The original suspect was the Acer monitor and that it was a bad panel. So, I replaced/exchanged it for another new one at Micro Center. The same issue continued. I was then convinced it was a problem with Acer, so I replaced/exchanged this second one for an Alienware (also 34" ultrawide 120Hz). The issue remains. I will exchange my GPU at Micro Center this week. If the flickering continues, I will have to consider getting a refund and a different GPU. I've made no changes and have done no overclocking.
