1500? I can get the equivalent cheaper with other companies. Before you fanboys come out swinging, other companies have just as good CS and warranties. Matter fact, my last experience with Asus was beyond amazing. I had a 6 month old monitor go back and they cross shipped me a brand new monitor for the RMA. The CS agents were great too. The whole experience was probably better than my EVGA CS experiences. Edit: Almost forgot, they paid for shipping too!

right...MSi sucks....Asus sucks (I hear a lie there)....Gigabyte sucks....which others were you looking at? I've tried those 3 companies and dealing with them

No other company comes close to EVGA for customer service. This is a fact. They are simply the best.

Monitors have a different RMA process than other Asus products, they only do cross shipping on monitors. I know as I've just had to RMA my PG27UQ (3 times to get a good one)... and now my Asus 2080Ti has died and I've RMA'd that. Asus do not even handle RMAs for GPUs here in the UK, they told me I had to go through the retailer, who upon confirming the fault have told me they have no ETA from Asus on new cards shipping and I can either wait it out however long that is or have a refund and have to try and find some stock somewhere.
 
Thinking of switching brands to EVGA but not sure when they're likely to come in stock in the EU and it's not guaranteed I'd be able to order one in time if they do. Make a nice little PR story for EVGA though I'm sure.... I bought all Asus kit for my new build and would never have bought the GPU from them if I'd known they don't handle their RMAs for the GPUs directly.

Meanwhile EVGA cross shipped my new in box card for free, outside of the 30 day period.

Back in stock! I went ahead and bought one.

I just got my Asus ROG Strix 2080ti OC Edition... Gotta say, I am more than pleased so far. EVGA missed the mark this time. This is the first non-EVGA card that I have bought since the 200 series cards.

They sold out quickly. I guess the demand is still high enough, even with all the problems. Or maybe the stock is so low that it doesn't take much to sell out.
 
I'd like to hear from the owners of this new batch to see if the issues seem to be resolved.

Well, I had to RMA an Asus motherboard recently and it was smooth and easy. They said they were unable to recreate the issue but sent me a different motherboard anyway which works great and it was brand new. Maybe they are improving their CS?

Still waiting for ftw3 Ti comes to EU stores.....

Man, I want to pull the trigger... but the price and defects are keeping from doing it.....

Did the price go up? I remeber I bough mine for 1349
