Yoyo is the project for this sprint. Same old same old with them. Ask for 2 days work and they send you 2 weeks. Hope they like their aborted tasks returned.

Last year this time they seem to only want to run CPU Projects.

It is a CPU project and it needs virtual box installed.

There are non VBox tasks as well. (camb_legacy..). The MT VB tasks need a constant network connection, so not good for bunker.

Hmm.. I only have 2 rigs with VBox running and one had all errors (my fault I'm sure) and the other is "waiting for network access". The top 3 in the picture are legacy tasks.

 
I'm going to spend some time soon setting up VBox on my Linux machines.

How are you blocking your network?  I've updated my hosts file to block  www.cosmologyathome.org and that seems to work.  
 
On an unrelated note, I remember having to use an app_config to limit mt vbox tasks to a max of 4 threads per task.  I can't remember why and can't seem to find the thread about it either.

@yodap Are you only suspending the Network in the Client Software?
You do not want to Disable the Network Card on your Hosts.

The 8t's were working well with when network was on.
 
I'll need to shut down later tonight and most of tomorrow because of storms and high winds.

I use the firewall outbound rule method to block for bunkers and it has been working for Cosmology.  I eventually get "VM task unmanageable" on some tasks and have to restart BOINC for them to resume.
My bunker is complete, as there is a limit to tasks per client.
The VBox tasks can be troublesome but I think the points are better than the legacy tasks.

Bummer that the Site is Down and I have all my tasks to upload and report from Day One at that.
I have some tasks left to run but with the Site down it is going to be a Tight End in the Offside of this Sprints.

The servers came back online in time to collect our tasks and the late push got us 5th place for this one. A good one for us. We are currently 1 point behind 10th place for the year which I think is amazing, and have 2 sprints left and they won't overlap PG challenges. A good turn out could get us in the top ten and maybe one of these sprints will be in our wheelhouse so to speak.

It's almost been a year since the release of these new cards and not a word from the administration. With that being said, a gtx 1080 is about 3 x a single thread in terms of speed at this point, so maybe they're trying to work on the entire application and make it faster?
Either way it's very disheartening not getting a single update. I finally decided to crunch here for the long term, but after going in depth and browsing these forums, I believe I'll meet my goal and find somewhere else to crunch.
Rant time: Maybe it is a lack of funding. Maybe it is a lack of time. But no communication whatsoever after we, as crunchers, devote thousands of hours (as well as in some cases dollars) into builds, electrical costs, etc. Sorry, that isn't right.
