I just realized that the contest rules say
"The contest will start at midnight (Eastern Time US) on Tuesday November 27th and end when each team has reached 100 million points."
That will only take about 2.5 - 3 days to complete. Should we up it to 500 million or even 1 billion?

I was wondering about 100 million being high enough, but it also depends on how the teams stack up.  Right now Eastern and Central have allot of people on their teams compared to all the other teams.   This is my first year so I'm not sure how this works, but I would assume people get moved around to even out the teams?   But truth be told I'm more worried about this affecting my goal of top 25 before the end of the year.   Luckily most of the people signing up I passed awhile ago, but there are some I haven't caught.... Yet.

I don't mind pushing things out a bit either. I try to be VERY careful with how much electricity I burn up each month, but the missus gives me free reign once or twice a year for the contests. Any excuse to just open up the throttle and retake some of my standings in the team ladder? Yeah, I'll take it!

The contest rules also state:
Time Period
  • The contest will start at midnight (Eastern Time US) on Tuesday November 27th and end when each team has reached 100 million points.
  • Note: points goals for each team may be adjusted prior to the start of the contest based on number of participants and team composition.

Another thing, from the stats side - If you need to get your numbers accurate, NOW is the time. I'd run for 2 - 3 days straight and get your daily average that way.

I don't either.   Over the last few months I've tweaked all the power I can out of all my cards.  Which did net me a little over a million points more per day, but no new cards until after the first of the year for me.

It's good to see you all signing up! Lots of familiar faces! It's great to see the Folding Family back again!

One more stats reminder - If you are signing up as having folded for our team but currently don't have any points, you need to start folding. If I can't find your name in the flat file, I can't add you to the contest!
