I'd love to push even more, but I've got all that I can folding at the moment. If I had the funds, I'd be upgrading at least two other pcs with 1070 or 2070 cards, but we just can't do it at the mo. d

bill1024 Hey guys and gals, the EVGA crunching team has the World Community Grid Christmas challenge going on right now. It is run through BOINC and they do research looking for cures for childhood cancer, Aids, Ebola, and Zika. It is CPU only, so why not put those CPUs to good use since they are not used for folding... Use this link to get on the right team. https://join.worldcommunitygrid.org?recruiterId=880253&teamId=3X6C6CKD02 Here is the thread. https://forums.evga.com/WCG-Christmas-Race-2018-m2888903.aspx Everyone is welcome to join in. Just remember to keep one core free for each GPU folding.
If its still going after TZC i can add a few cores . its a **** living in a 5th wheel only got 30 amps . with out a gpu running ill try and add 20 or so cores

It is going to Dec 26th. Would be nice to see a few new/old faces join in. Guess Imasanbager, adding a couple million PPD to try to catch CMO. Its cold out, can use the heat any way. Sure don't want to see the electric bill this month. I try to heat my house in the Winter with computers. So over the year upgrading hardware to get more tasks done and points, I find they do not throw off as much heat as they used to.Mostly talking CPUs, they seem to still use as much electric. GPUs have come a long way with power usage, although they too give off less heat than they used to.

Replaced. The controller went out on it causing a disco effect via the lights. The wiring here is slightly nuts. It's a bedroom fan on a circuit labeled dining room that has several outlets on it, including the one the computer was on.

Actually troy8d, I was kind of hoping you'd slow your production down a little so I can make the top 25 by Christmas and the PPD you are doing is slightly hindering my goal. Come on CMO we are doing great, lets leave these people in the dust!!!

Best to remove any Memory or CPU OC & might need to dial back on any GPU OC also Pause or finish current WU & a clean reboot sometime does wonders for stability don't forget to reboot routers & modems also ... wait your on CMO, better turn that puppy off for a few days to allow adequate cooling and electronic stability to return .....

Slowly working all of my overclocks up to get better PPD. Bump the core 13mhz, and give it a few hours to make sure I don’t start seeing bad work units.

Add all the fire power you can muster bill - CMO is ~8.4 Million above estimated PPD - EP is only 3.8 Million above estimated PPD

Might be better to grab a pair of 2080ti's, depending on price. - NVIDIA Titan RTX – $3000 US (50% Faster Than 1080 Ti)
TPU is showing a approximate performance increase of 10%, but then again I'm a noob! Would be better than anything I have. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/titan-rtx.c3311
