Chris21010 just thought it fair to just use my personal rig at home for this competition
Your five 1070's get five milli or did you replace them with 1080 Ti's?
oh, they have been 5x 1080ti's for quite a while now.
Do you just have the 1 water cooled GTX 1070 left that you're giving away in this challenge?

CORRECT, i had built towers for two loops with 2 GPU's each but the 5th had nowhere to go.

And this is where I'll knock on wood, cross fingers and do whatever silly dance I must - Because I a watercooled system that could handle an additional waterblock before I would need to add another radiator and this would be exactly the excuse I need to add a few lengths of tubing to the system.

HK-Steve OK, So who sent some bad voodoo my way??? Just lost a SSD on my Folding 2 Rig, Now reinstalling Windows 7 Pro, only 187 updates to go... Might be back online tonight, is nearly 8pm here.....
HK, that sucks hope it goes smooth, or at least as smooth as a windows install can.
2 1/2 hrs and all back up and running...Wiping sweat of forehead.. now ice cold beer time.. ....Now for some catchup.... opps, we are in front.. so time to stay there....and gain even more... No more voodoo yodap...
You need to practice safe folding Burn an image after going through all that reload OS pain
Something I have planned to do, but never seem to get any downtime to get it done, maintenance is the first priority, cleaning radiators and fans etc..

You should use the Windows backup utility to make a full backup. Find an external hard drive or sub drive to store it on. Doesn't have to be a CD or DVD. Then update it once a quarter or so. Another option is download the iso image for each new feature re lease build to minimize downloads after installation.
apparently Amazon doesn't really offer 2 day shipping anymore. My card has a Tuesday estimated delivery with Prime 2 day shipping. Sounds like 7 day shipping to me. Seems lately it takes days for them to pack and ship stuff.

I highly recommend Macrium Reflect for Windows PC backups. It's more versatile than the built-in Windows backup uitility. It is free for home and business use.

No to a SATA Drive connected to the USB Port. I Do not really Back Up but Create a System Image of the Drives and OS State and so on. Called Window 7 System Image on Windows 10, or something like that. Even BD-R Take to long and need more than 1 Disk and the Disk Cost are High for RW Disks. I use this device StarTech.com SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to Dual 2.5/3.5in SATA Hard Drive Docking Station

Windows BU tool used to be horrible, went away from it because it was slow and images were huge. Macrium Reflect is very good and so is Aomei Backupper.

I'd call them. If GPU was listed as in stock, shipped by and hopefully sold by Amazon. If they muffed the original order - Insist they do 1-Day shipping to make your experience a "Prime Experience" Now to go unpack some new toys UPS delivered

Yeah, it's odd. It's shipped and sold by Amazon.com exclusively for Prime Members. Now it has a December 13th in stock date for new orders. My EVGA box comes Friday so it will make the main contest. I just might pester Amazon about the shipping date, although they'll probably say I missed the window for the "5 in stock order soon".

That is nice for upgrades too. I bought a practically new laptop - burned an image of the entire HDD and then took out the platter/spinner HD and put in a larger and much faster SSD, more ram and transferred the image onto the new SSD. Major improvement for low cost.

you do not want to play that game with me cuz i can guarantee it will not end well for the CMO guys.
OK I turned off 5 of my GPUs and have my PPD back at or below 4,000,000

Well Mountain Zone sure is @ +66% of declared PPD --> now +5 Million PPD Its a "Call to Arms" for anyone on Our Team that still shows a double digit negative PPD yield Or is it ?
