Wow, looks great.
I cant wait for TopGear BBC to drive it.

Much like nearly all other American cars, I'm sure they'll look at the exposed fasteners in the door sill and conclude the car is garbage.

I'm sure the review will still be quite entertaining.

Gaming Rig:
Corsair Vegeance C70, Swiftech H220, Intel i7-3770K @ 4.5GHz (1.24V), Asus Sabertooth Z77, Corsair AX860, 16GB Corsair Vegeance DDR3-1600 CL9 1.35V, EVGA GTX 670 FTW, SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD, Dell 2408WFP, Corsair K70 Cherry Red, Corsair M65, Logitech Z-5500 5.1
Steambox/HTPC:
Lian Li PC-Q01A, AMD A10-7800, ASRock FM2A88X-ITX, Seasonic ST30SF, 8GB Samsung DDR3-1600 @ 1866, Samsung 840 Evo 250GB MSATA SSD

I hate the rear end look.

Aside that, this car is wicked. Being super charged it is more docile for daily driving then having pure NA.

The interior has come a long way from the C5, but most guys don't buy a z06 worrying about plastic, they want performance. This car for the money (the base is rumored to be $85k and the loaded $98k) is pretty much the best bang for the buck. The look may not be for you, but you cannot deny the performance. Removable roof is impressive for a z06, never had that before.

Agreed, I think GM should have gone with this rear end...

You could not be more wrong, this car actually handles. If you want to go fast in a straight line GT500 will do that much better.

He is not wrong at all. There is nothing special you really have to do in order to go fast in a straight line. YES dude I know (before you even say anything) if you reach high speeds 200+ some aerodynamics and engineering go into play so no need to get all technical. Anyways both cars are good for straight lines because thats what they are both meant for and they both suck at handling sharp turns even thou the corvettes handling improved a bunch. You maybe saying "NO HAZMAN your wrong because something like the Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca was meant for the track and the corners. Ya ok it was meant for the track BUT it still sucks at cornering LOL.

You realize this vette handles well right? I hate all American cars but i at least will give it what it was meant to do, handle well and go fast. Now if you still wanna hate on it and claim it sucks at handling sure-there are other cars that will do straight line better.

Now if you want to go fast in a straight line get a sofa and strap it to Apollo 11. I have 5 words for you STRAP IN AND HOLD ON!! and yes I am aware that it is kinda random. Also this contraption will not handle well at all.
Sorry I did have a pic but it was SUPER long so I deleted it

Apparently you do care and take me seriously. You took some time out your day to read my post and take the time to actually respond to it. Thanks for the seriousness to care.

I never said I don't care to respond, I said I can't take you seriously. It's not easy to when you state an objective judgement on something which you have no knowledge of, because, you know, it was only revealed a couple weeks ago, has not had performance numbers released, has not been reviewed, and won't go on sale for 8 months or so.

...Unless of course you're a GM engineer or an insider, in which case your statements might have some shred of credibility. I doubt that, however.

When was the last time you drove a new Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca, new Shelby GT500 or a new ZO6
If you have, ever think it was the driver that cant corner?

I drove it yesterday(sike!) Dude what I am saying why both cars suck is because they are MUSCLE CARS!! To dumb it down those cars are not meant to go around corners loops and everyone knows that. It just that Chevy and Ford want to compete with other automakers(BMW,Audi,Nissan,ect..) that have their flag ship cars that go around corners and they openly admitted to competing against them. Yes like I said, they intended to make a Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca go around corners. Of course the Laguna Seca is waaaaay better than a GT500 or any other stock mustang if used to go around corners but they still are not great at all at cornering. Obviously both the laguna seca and new Corvette are great at corners FOR MUSCLE CARS but still suck against all other cars. You can compare other cars to them because thats what the auto manufacture is doing.  Anyways dont make things more complicated for other forum members to comprehend than it already is. I have a feeling some one is going to post something like "its the evolution of the new muscle car era to do that".

Dude, the Boss 302 and the new Corvette do not suck at going around corners.....even comparatively speaking.  The only people that are saying this are stuck at looking at muscle cars from the 60's and 70's and could care less to actually drive one......because those that have driven them, professional reviewers, professional race car drivers, enthusiasts, are all saying the same thing....they handle excellent.

The 2012 Z06 didn't pull a 7:22 around Nurburgring Nordschleife because it sucks at going around corners.  Same with the Boss 302 running a 1:26 at Willow springs.  Those types of times just aren't possible regardless of who is behind the wheel or what tire they are running if the car isn't good at cornering.

While I don't have solid performance numbers on the new Z06, all I know is that GM said on it's first outing it beat the ZR1 track record. So all I can go off of for showing how good the Z06 should handle is to show what the ZR1 can do. In this video Randy Pobst set a track record for a production car with the ZR1 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

and for the Pony cars don't handle deal. Have a video for that too.

kram, you should know by now that you should never post proof for someone that has the Stig in their av/sig. They obviously know everything about cars, and your proof is not valid.

Wow you really need to shut your face dude you keep putting your foot in your mouth(or I should say fingers).  Your such a HYPOCRITE! So now when somebody posts a YouTube video, its considered proof for you but when I do it on my you know what thread, I am a liar and those actually experts on the video I posted are liars too as well as not knowing what they are saying. Those automotive experts better have scientific essays or its not true LOL! Ya whatever man stop trying to trash talk me with your stupid comebacks and it goes to show how childish you are for doing so. Also I said nothing about me knowing everything about cars so stop putting posts in peoples mouths. You seem like the prideful hypocrite that thinks he knows everything whether it be about cars are anything else(such as proof LOL). O and by the way, how long have I had my avatar over 2 years now on this site. Plus I added my sig at the bottom because some one like Holo was trying to copy me. Of course that guy also thinks he knows everything like I do too because he has the picture of the stig. I hope no one actually seriously believes a hypocrite like you with a foolish avatar such as yours. Anyways stop derailing this thread now.
