Evga 3070 cx3 ultra. I was playing warzone and noticed my GPU LED was Red(temperature profile). The GPU was hitting 80C. 2 fans were not spinning. I think they stop spinning mid game. I was on PX1 1.1.4 so I updated to 1.1.5. Same behavior. I unlinked the fans and I think the issue is resolved. My curve is very aggressive (90% at 70C) Maybe the power draw limit for fans is reached and the 2 fans stop spinning?

    I've got 3080 and got same issue 2 fans stopped spinning and 3rd was on set rpm, temps reached over 80. Do you have precision for game bar installed? I found that this was modifying my fan profile during game and randomly even when idle.

    Yes I do have that installed and last time I checked it, it wasn't even showing detecting information. Thanks for the info.

    I do have the same issue with my 3080 FTW3 Ultra, going to uninstall it and see it it fixes it.

    I have 3070 FTW3 Ultra, and just updated to PX1 1.1.7.0 stand alone version from 1.1.4; There was a firmware update and since there was a recent LED firmware update already, this one may have included Fan Controller so perhaps you may want to check it out as well to see if resolves issue you're having.

    I have a similar issue where Fan 2 will stop spinning on occasion.  It only seems that it will do it when I begin playing a game, and not just temperature/load triggered (ie: does not cause the fan to stop when at load and running hot).  This was an issue with 1.1.6 and still now with 1.1.7
     
    I'm running 1.1.7 and a 3080 XC3 Ultra (GPU BIOS 94.02.26.40.CC)
    Drivers are at 461.40
