Just a simple concern, my 1660 ti xc ultra gaming is advertised out of the box to run at 1860 clock speeds however without adding any software and downloading the current drivers i get clocks of about 1960-1980 and after adding the evga oc software and setting that to default it stayed the same. My concern is that is this healthy for the card, is this natural and should I let the card continue, or should I draw the clock speeds back to an advertised 1860 as I am not looking to overclock? The temps are healthy as well.

Normal. Nothing to worry about.

Do you think you could elaborate please? Why does my card do this and is it technically overclocked? I wouldn't think it is because the evga oc software scale is at 0. I just don't want to have overclocked hardware...I don't like the affects it has long term.

Because of gpu boost 4.0. Yes, the card basically overclocks itself.

Oh alright thanks. Last thing, would you say because of this...the card will last 3-4 years without issues?

No problem. It won't affect the lifespan of the card, so you should get as many years out of it as possible.
