Greetings,

Long time eVGA user (actually got a hat back in the day for MODRigs)...in any event..

Looking to upgrade a pc running 132-GT-E768 to Windows 10.  I only see the chipset driver for this OS...so should it be considered a no go?

Thanks fells!

Should be fine. Microsoft supplies the Windows 10 drivers for the rest of the items on your motherboard as far as I am aware.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

I ran win10 on my x58 FTW3, and my x58 Classified3 with no issues at all.
win10 installed every driver needed. One driver I went and DL was the Nvidia driver.

In the event that you ever do need a driver for something and can't find it, Station-Drivers is probably your best source for hard-to-find and unlisted drivers..Just FYI.

Backwards support is something Microsoft does very well with older motherboards.

Now that I think about it, I seem to remember having to download the USB3 drivers.
Its been a while, I sold off my x58 boards and haven't set one up in about a year.

right you are, i thought there were few of them, i remember the classified 3 model number but couldnt remember if there was a ftw 3 also, they ( plus the sli3 now that i looked ) were the only ones that had usb 3 and a couple SATA 3 ports from add on controller chips in the x58 era. windows 10 should still install those drivers also though

Just for input...

I unloaded my SR-2 and just fired up my old X58 Classified using the same SSD with Windows 10. Downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Evga even though they were anywhere from 3-7 years old, lol. The system is running like a champ.

I think they were for the USB3, for some reason had to get them by downloading them.
Ill go google it

So if you go to device manager, there are no yellow warnings by any device?

I have to go fire up the server and look in my x58 driver files and find that driver that is not in win10.
Either sata3 or usb3, at least it did not install for me when I did mine a year or two ago.
Miss my Classified3, was a darn nice board. Kind of sorry I sold it.

OP is probably long gone lol.  I am sure he will figure it out and be just fine.

Yeah bill1024 luckily no warnings. I even went through each tab to double check.
