    A lot of the testing and talk of huge power consumption has been blown out of proportion. If we're talking encoding ect power consumption means nothing just speed. In terms of gaming its not nearly as bad as people think in terms of wattage. Overall 12th gen has been the biggest leap since 2008 on the x58 platform. This is only the beginning and I am sure the 13th gen is going to be insane.
