amlariaevga cust service told me today to check back when lga 1700 is released, guess they don't even have a clue what is going on since its released today. I am more worried about height, and corsair recommended the screw kit, since that is all that is changing with theirs.
colliert11Just ordered 12th gen CPU, need an adapter kit or will have to switch to a new AIO. Hello? EVGA?
gpittscolliert11Just ordered 12th gen CPU, need an adapter kit or will have to switch to a new AIO. Hello? EVGA? Is the 12th Gen processor Z-height guaranteed to be the same as for the 11th Gen processors? Haven't seen that confirmed just yet.
dgwrigh58Yes this is quite frustrating as it's not like EVGA is a small company. Every major cooler provider has had some form of public statement regarding kits being available or when they will be available. It's very sad to see EVGA make not even an effort to provide information. I wouldn't be surprised if EVGA is not providing information because a bracket won't be available for quite some time. Pretty sad.
hitaway4I ended up ordering a thermaltake lga 1700 kit for my CLC 280 since they are both ASETEK coolers and if history repeats itself, use the same retention brackets/standoffs.
