Hey guys, got a weird bug here. So i am plug to a lg oled tv screen, never had a problem with my 980ti sli. With the 1080ti sometimes the screen goes black for a second and back to what it was displaying. Any idea on how to fix this? I don't have any oc set at the moment on the gpu.

Have you tried with a different display? Tried re-seating the cable? Sounds like signal interruption.

I don't have any, i did a clean reinstall of the drivers and that seems to almost fix it, only have one interruption per hour or so. bcavnaugh Or a bad VGA Cable.
It's a golded plated hdmi cable, worked fine until now, possible to have a faulty cable?

The output on the card could be faulty.

If you haven't yet, download a program called Display Driver Uninstaller, you can find it HERE. Because clean installing the drivers helped a bit I think this would be a good thing to try.

What about your "oled tv screen" can you test on a real monitor? What is the Full Model Number of your LG?

Bumping this. Could everybody having this issue do a supporte request to nvidia please? It is the 4th iteration of the driver since the release of the 1080ti and we still have this issue. Seems to trigger only on w10 and pascal gpus of course, but can happen on different resolutions, dp or hdmi. (and yes the brand new card coming from rma had the same issue)

If that's you posting on the GeForce drivers forum about the issue, you're gonna need to give NVIDIA a lot more hardware information. They need to be able to duplicate the problem in their lab. I'm running a 1080 Ti under Win 10 Pro, using DisplayPort, and earlier driver 378.78 with no signal issues. Not everyone is experiencing the problem.

That is the problem actually, it seems to be someone that affect only a small percentage of users. My friend has the same issue on a gtx 1070 since the driver coming with the release of the 1080ti, so it definitly feels like a driver bug. He is using dp and a 1080p monitor, so as you can see we don't have the same hardware, at all. Saw other people on different forums which are affected too, the only thing we share is that we are all using pascal gpus. This is pissing me off, buying a 800euros gpu to replace a fully working sli, only to be subject to a driver bug nvidia doesn't give two about. I did gave nvidia a lot of hardware information when i send them a bug report by the way
