I know that with previous orders, I found the waiting for info, any info at all, was probably the hardest once I was finally able to pull the trigger on a component.  Not knowing anything drove me crazy (or in my case crazy-er).  I was just begging them to take my money!

Yes but in most cases United will get you there the day you are supposed to get there and if not keep you informed.

That's because they have a lot more employees and a massive computer network with high uptime to handle real-time processing and transaction.  It's worse for them to delay flights than it is for EVGA to delay orders.

Well when people are paying over $700.00 for a GPU a little information about how they are sending out pre orders and any significant delays isn't too much to ask.  I have been buying GPUs, MBs and other parts for 10 years, this is the first time I'm disappointed with them, I get that delays can happen I would just like some info.

Valid point.  I am still amazed that I went from thinking that paying $400+ for a video card was crazy, and here I am waiting on one that will probably be double that - and find myself waiting for info about the Elite Members card and when I can pull the trigger on a card that I can only guess at the price, but for which I seem willing to pony-up the money.  Best part for me is that I really want a certain color - but my case has solid sides so you'll never see it.   I should just stop monitoring this forum for info about the newer cards and go outside and enjoy the weather!

I'm waiting, too, but there's not much you can do.  We're all enthusiasts, and we know EVGA is not scamming us.  That's why we're here.  I've been an EVGA owner since the 8800GT and nForce days, and I have little to worry.  Just be glad they don't charge your credit card months ahead and leave you in the dark.  I used to be in the car hobby, and I've been in situations where I spent thousands and waited months for the completed product.  This is nothing.  The only reason why I'm impatient is that I'm stuck at 2160p 30Hz because the 6700k doesn't support HDMI 2.0, so I'm hardly using the PC at home.

[EDIT] OMG, I noticed it says my order has shipped, but there's no tracking.  So I think it got shipped yesterday and I didn't even know about it.  Hopefully I get it before the weekend, but I'm going out of town to hit the bars.  Gaming can wait... :)

It's nice to some folks happy for sure, just sucks to not be one of them yet.

I saw my order processed yesterday evening EST.  It is already in one of the UPS facilities in my city this afternoon.  I already sent the tax payment to UPS via Paypal but they have not processed it yet :p  my hope is I get it today during their evening run but will most likely be tomorrow, assuming they don't delay on processing the payment.

EVGA is one of the last people to release their non-founder 1080Ti cards... by time the people that pre-ordered the FTW3 get their cards, Volta (Q3 2017 according to rumors) will be only a few months away from release and it'll already be outdated. If there's an issue it would be nice to hear about it. I've waited almost a month for something that other manufacturers have had out for weeks now. Not only that, but they didn't even release the SC2 to reviewers before shipping the first pre-orders, which makes it seem like this is being rushed out the door (however... very slowly rushed)

It'd be nice to hear some sort of update as to why it's taking so long for EVGA to release these compared to other manufacturers.

I'm going to join the discussion.  Also pre-ordered the 1080 Ti SC2 within minutes of receiving the email.  Current status is Estimated Shipping Date: 4/17/2017.  No charge to cc, no status change to shipped.  Although I purchased several EVGA gpus over the year, this is the first pre-order direct instead of from NewEgg or Amazon.  I would have easily ordered the Asus Strix OC weeks ago if had not been for the 11.7" length.  Seems the SC2 is one of the few models that has an overclock with the shorter 10.6" length.  Guess time will tell when the rest of our pre-orders get shipped.

I will also weigh in on this. I pre-ordered about 20 minutes after they went live. My current status is also Estimated Shipping Date: 4/17/2017. Also no cc charge or status change. This is also my first pre-order of a computer part so guess I'm just getting a little antsy.

Yeah all I want at this point is just an actual shipping date. Was looking forward to finally finishing my PC build that's been a month in the works and gaming this weekend. Some people have had theirs ship in the U.S., so I'm wondering why mine hasn't since I think I did order relatively immediately after the SC2 went live. All I've heard thus far is that it would be today or tomorrow. Now that "today" (which was yesterday) and "tomorrow" (which is today) has come and pretty much gone, just anticipating my tracking #, or an update.

I'm dying. This is my first PC build in over 10 years and the 1080 ti will complete it. There's also a HTC Vive chilling in the box here, waiting to be experienced. No shipping update and no cc charge yet. Now I'm regretting my choice of ground shipping.

I just cancelled my preorder for a SC2 that was supposed to ship 4/17. The lack of communication on such an expensive product from a veteran company is inexcusable. My local brick and mortar has the Asus Strix in stock and I'll be getting one of those today.

If mine doesn't ship today I'm likely going to follow suit.  EVGA used to be amazing, but this is a huge cluster.  I'm in an industry where one bad experience can ruin an entire relationship, years and YEARS of a relationship.  This is quickly becoming that type of screw-up.

I've never had an issue with EVGA before and I've always liked their step-up program and service. But "c'mon!" a simple, clear communication about the state of pre-orders with their enthusiast base would go a long way. This will be my first Asus GPU, but I've had probably 20 mobos from them. We'll see how it goes.

I've ordered the FTW3 so 1st of may for me. they have plenty of time to get it sorted by then, so If I don't hear anything that's it I'm going elsewhere, I could just go buy the Strix or Aorus extreme edition right now but I'm being patient as I got a "good" price on the card.

Estimated.. doesnt meant exact. There is no telling what may have caused a delay.. heck, they added rgb to the sc2, when they initially said it was going to only have white lighting.

Jacob already stated that the SC2 cards have started shipping.

The frustration is the complete lack of communication about the delay.  For folks estimated shipping dates to still say 4/17 and the ridiculously vague answers from support on expectations we're just super frustrated.  There are folks who have their SC and SC2 cards already.  I just don't understand how that type of delay with absolutely no communication is considered proper behavior from a major gaming corporation.

I work in Business Intelligence, the effort it would take to run through the pre-order database and find those that haven't shipped, haven't been charged and still say 4/17 then contact those owners with an apology email and update the 4/17 entry in the db would be absolutely minimal.  I wonder if they want my help?  Hell I'll VOLUNTEER my time to help your team do this.   I don't even work for the company but I'll be happy to point them in the right direction when it comes to letting their customers know about a delay.

Estimated.. doesnt meant exact.

I agree. If it does not ship until this upcoming Monday, fine, I just want some sort of update. I don't understand why I am being left in the dark, nor do I understand how the customer service team does not know anything either.
