Hi I've bought a second hand EVGA 1080TIFTW3 off a guy on a uk forum I got a paypal invoice to prove I got it from him,is this ok to upload so I can register the card for warranty ?

As I understood it, no. You will need the original invoice or possibly just a copy of it from him.

I'll try get it from him if not I've got a £700 card with no warranty may just sell it and get another brand as I always bought EVGA for their great warranty as with these new changes I can't continue to buy another card as the cards used to sell well secondhand down to the gest rma.

Hello, We require an invoice for any secondhand product, where the original purchase date is after May 25, 2018. The invoice should show the details of the sale between the previous owner and the new owner. I would attempt to get the invoice from the original owner, but if this is not possible, you may upload your PayPal invoice if this is the only invoice you have.

Hello, If you bought it from a forum marketplace, go ahead and put that as the place of purchase. We still would require an invoice for any future RMAs, so I would upload the invoice you have available. This includes PayPal, eBay, etc. If you upload an invoice, I can take a look at it and let you know if it would be sufficient. -Jacob B.

Ive got it registered now and payed for the 5 year warranty invoice has been uploaded. If the 5 year warranty is not void I'll have it refuned.

Please let me know if you have any issues getting the refund approved. Edit: Even so, I noticed you said you had a PayPal invoice from when you bought the card from the previous owner. Uploading that as your invoice would be sufficient to have an RMA request approved under the new secondhand warranty.

Now that I have the original invoice from the seller will it be ok to reregister the card as the details show I have the full 3 years warranty on the card.

You may register the card at any time an invoice is not required for registration. You will want to upload the transaction between the seller and yourself as the invoice. The warranty will start from the date the card shipped out of our warehouse and will end 3 years after that date.
