Hi,
Was curious on the difference between the memory bus speeds on the Current titan x vs the 1080 ti
This page will have a bunch of relevant information pertaining to a comparison between these two cards:
http://www.anandtech.com/...xp-full-gp102-for-1200Addressing(pun!) your memory question specifically, on the latest Pascal Titan, the Xp, the memory is clocked stock at 11.4 Gbps, around 3% higher than the 1080Ti, and has a memory bus that is 384bits wide, 32 bits wider than the Ti. This yields the following theoretical maximum bandwidths for each card:
Xp: 11.4 billion bits per second(effective data rate) * 384 parallel bits per transfer / 8 bits per byte = 547.2 billion transferred bytes per second= 547.2GB/s.
Ti: 11 billion bits per second(effective data rate) * 352 parallel bits per transfer / 8 bits per byte = 484 billion transferred bytes per second= 484GB/s.
