My main rig has 1080TI in SLI in a custom waterloop (EK Blocks, EK Backplate). One of these cards stopped functioning recently and I submitted an RMA.
RMA went smooth until I realize that (after being very specific about my setup and needs) they decided to send me a RTX 2080 with 8G of VRAM. The only way I could utilize this card would be to purchase a second RTX 2080, 2 EK waterblocks and 2 EK backplates. That would put be back ~$1200+
I immediately called EVGA support and had the absolutely worst experience. The agent told me "There's nothing we can do to help". I pushed my point and he said he'd open a ticket but never did. Am I really out of luck?
