When I increase the offset of the GPU and hit apply it does not seem to be taking the overclock. The GPU still says 1569mhz. Am i doing something wrong or am i reading something wrong? I am new to GPU overclocking.
Thanks In advance.

Did you install the hybrid cooler or did it come with the cooler already installed?

why don;t you try this. put your voltage back to stock and rise the gpu clock offset to 101 this work for my 1080 FTW

If you're playing an older game the card may not run above the base clock. Enable k-boost then apply your overclocks to see the overclock applied in real time.

    I am just running benchmarks.

It also gives me the XoC is not responding error a lot. Like probably every 3 of 5 times I try to make a change. Then after it closes because of not responding my whole pc gets really laggy.

If you're saying you installed the Hybrid cooler yourself and those are the clocks then your GPU will need to be RMA'd as you have just entered the 'FTW 3 is broken after installing the Hybrid' zone.

    I installed it myself.

Then it sounds like the classic faulty hybrid cooler and you now need to contact evga for an rma of the card and hybrid cooler.

Theres a huge thread on here and evga still is producing bad hybrid coolers that are ruining the cards.

Call evga.. they know about it.

Theres a small chance you can remove the hybrid cooler and install the stock cooler back and the card would be fine.. but quite a few state the card is permanently damaged.

I keep checking on these, has anyone ever recovered from this? They have to put the card back together anyway for the RMA, but I'm just curious. As far as I know, once this happens, it's unrecoverable.

I've read of a few different people that were able to remove the hybrid cooler a few times and it still worked fine once they put the stock cooler back on.

Might be like if they run it long enough with the hybrid cooler on, it becomes unreversable.

I am on the phone with EVGA as we speak seeing what my options are. I bought this hybrid kit about 3 weeks ago. It was on sale on amazon. I am assuming I got an old model of the kit. I decided on replacing the stock cooler because one of my fans was broken. So the stock cooler really isn't an option at this point.
