Hey all,
Im in OCX and its saying my GPU and Power temp at idle are 27 degrees Celsius which is normal, but my memory temp at idle is 120 degrees Celsius? Maybe a bad sensor? Any ideas?

    Hello,

120 Celsius is definitely not normal. Would you be able to provide a screenshot of the temperatures in Precision XOC for us?

I hope the high temps aren't the results of missing thermal pads on the RAM.:(

Click on the Sensor button ... which mem temp sensor is showing 119 degrees?

Also, try rebooting and then checking XOC temps again.

Mem 2 sensor and i've rebooted multiple times

I'm assuming both fans are spinning (XOC image shows them running at about 40%).

Does the card feel hot near Mem2?  Thinking it could be a bad temp sensor.

Did you recently update drivers and/or XOC?

Thank you for providing that image. That is most definitely not normal for the card to be at in Precision XOC. I will be sending you an email (to the email address we have on file to your EVGA account) shortly so that we can move forward with resolving this issue. Please look for my email within the next couple of minutes!

I have this exact problem with a brand new 3070 FTW3. Also MEM2, also 120 degrees...
Did you manage to find the cause and or the solution for this?
