I got my hands on a used 11G-P4-6393-KR and threw my EK waterblock on it. So far I'm sitting at 2050mhz and 5800mhz on mem, max power limit, stock voltage. Seems pretty stable so far. What kind of clocks can I can expect on these "black editions"
Should I bother raising the voltage? I've read Pascal doesn't really respond to higher voltages to get a higher core clock.

Of course they clock higher with more voltage! Max the power/temp/voltsge meters and bench and see what's up. Using AB curve and select the dot for 1.093v and raise the dot to the clock you want to try..press control+l.. hit apply on AB and test. Leave the memory alone till you find the max stable core clock. Then you should repeat but with just the memory. Then try to combine the 2 but most likely you'll need to lower the mem clock to stabilize. Edit to add: On my evga 1080ti ftw3 elite card it liked when I would raise the whole curve.. meaning I'd hold the control key while raising the 1.093v dot to 2190mhz. No idea why.. guess every card is different.

I like testing with 3dmark firestrike or any 3dmark bench.. cause it it's not stable it will just error in the bench and not lock the whole system up. So you can keep adjusting your overclock and testing without harm.

I'll have to play around more with the voltage. I upgraded from a 1080. My 1080 didn't care for my voltage, it typically responded with more instability and higher temps.

Yes temps can be an issue if your climbing up into the 70+ range with max voltage. So keeping the voltage low would help with that plus high fans. Try setting your fans at max just to test the max overclock.

If you are on water, Depend on the block VRM tempt maybe something you should watch out for.

Temps aren't an issue. By higher temps, I meant it went from 46C at full load to 51C lol

It's a full block, VRMs and NAND are cooled

These temps are kinda high for a custom watercooling. My 1080Ti runs at 30°C / 1.093v / 2100 Mhz full load on 3DMark.

About that. Unless you're going to mod the card the highest voltage you can get is 1.093v. I'm running +400 on the memory too. I can lock mine using the voltage cure at 2100..but meh...I have it set to run 2050mhz at 1.012v.

It's in an office that is a bit warm, also the case (PC 011 dynamic) doesn't have much in regards to intake.

Ok, thanks. I'm mostly trying to see what the average max is for the GPU itself to see if I got a good card or not.

2050mhz stable on stock voltages is a good card. Average is a couple of bins lower ~2025. If you can under volt it, even better. Too be perfectly honest, despite my staring at it for hours, I don't think I've ever seen a difference using the voltage slider and what voltage the GPU is using or more accurately what the displayed voltage is.

I'm with ya there. My 1080 Founders was like that and after a few days with this Ti, it seems to be about the same. I've settled on 2063mhz (+80mhz) core 5900mhz (+400mhz) VRAM at stock voltage. Just cranked power limit.
