So, I'm having problems (games are crashing) with my 1080 Ti FTW3 and after many troubleshooting attempts I decided to switch the BIOS from Normal to OC and run some benchmarks/games. I've only run Timespy and so far everything seems ok (score was 10233)  
 
Except for one thing: Timespy registered GPU at 120 degrees celsius at one point (and GPU load was registered at 150%). Did it really reach 120 degrees? I also had HWInfo open and the highest GPU temperature registered was 71 degrees. Should I worry? I still need to test it more since on Normal BIOS it was crashing on all games and now this temperature thing. Should I RMA it?

The GPU should throttle if it reaches about 85C. If it were to reach roughly 95C - 100C then the system would shut off to prevent any damage. The actual load can't exceed 100% either, so this definitely sounds like a reporting error.

Thanks for your answer. What about the crashes? Most of the games I tried to play are crashing in normal BIOS. OC Bios alleviated the issue but I still crash in games and benchmarks. Should I flash another BIOS? Is this a case for RMA?
