Nice review on there!  Soon we'll likely be seeing some comparing against the other custom cards.  They do need to fix a typo near the end of that review, though:
"If you’re really looking to crank overclocks as far as possible, you might want to wait for the release of EVGA’s flagship GTX 1080 Ti FTW2 flagship, which is also imbued with iCX."

Naturally, their link goes to the FTW3 page.

That's a very exciting review.  If the SC2 looks that good, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the FT3 stacks up.

Great start, especially with the iCX cooling performance. Curious to see how well it stacks against the competitors while OC'd.

"The EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2’s robust iCX cooling solution keeps the GPU a whopping 15 degrees Celsius cooler than the Founders Edition under load, and it stays far quieter while doing so. It’s not just the GPU staying chilly, either: Checks with Precision XOC showed the PWMs and memory running nice and cool."

Perfect! Great design of the shroud btw... imho the best design of an evga card ever. with an exception of the 980ti kingpin maybe, due to the copper that's also one hell of a sexy card.

This, my credit card is burning a hole in my wallet for the White version of the FTW3 Elite. I swear it's like they don't want my money, I have to stay off newegg to stay away from temptation to another card.

Great reviews so far...one thing I think they're failing to mention is how impressive the SC2's cooling performance is compared to the competition in a *much* smaller profile...the MSI and Gigabyte cards are huge in comparison, yet the SC2 manages super competitive thermal performance.  Mini-ITX folks should be pleased (we'll see when I gets mines!)  Nice!

One very interesting thing about the gamers nexus review is that the open holes on the fan plate appear to be just "marketing".

Yes, Jacob confirmed that 1st round of preorders starts to ship may 1st. Possible end of this week. 2nd round starts the following week. Of course, you might get expedited based on elite card and cancelled preorders.

That's great !   thanks !    I'm really looking forward to some reviews of the FTW3 ...... especially, what OCs it's capable of since the factory clocks aren't as high as some of the competitor aftermarket cards.
