Upgraded my gpu with the Morpheus 2 and now it’s not posting in BIOS. Checked common issues but cant seem to figure it out. Card was running perfectly before. The only change mobo( ASUS Maximus Apex x) wise is it’s in a x4 slot instead of x16/x8 that it was in before. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Put the stock cooler back on and see if the card works then. The card should still work in a x4 slot, but the performance will be reduced. Trying another pci-e slot wouldn't hurt either.

Check Card is fully seated (thats a Big Cooler) all your power cables & make sure you did not "bump" something while working on your PC

If it's your only video card why would you even put it in an x4 slot, I don't even think it's going to work there especially if it's the bottom slot, needs to be in your x16 slot.

Okay, update. I put the stock cooler back on, looked over the card for damage and didn't see anything, put it in a x8 slot and still nothing. I couldn't put it in a x8 or x16 slot with the Morpheus 2 because it was too big. It's almost as though the card isn't receiving any power, none of the lights on the stock cooler came on, so I double checked that everything was seated properly and it is, if this card died the first time I every did anything to it I'm going to flip.

Sounds like you need to try a different set of pci-e power cables too.

PC was unplugged from the wall when removing or adding the GPU ?

What is your PSU & how old is it ?

Test different PCIe output when testing other available PCIe cable

Warning: Only use cables that came with your PSU ...unless you have confirmed that the "other cables" are compatible with That PSU

Update, I'm a dumbass. My mobo has switches to deactivate the PCI-E slots and I had them off. Thanks for all the suggestions and help.
