1080 Ti Kingpin owners, what's your FPS in 3DMark Time Spy Graphics Test 1? It seems Kingpin is somehow faster than other 1080 Ti cards clock-to-clock, this thread was made to confirm the fact. 3DMark is a free download: https://www.futuremark.com/downloads/3dmark.zip After installation just click the Run button in the main screen, you can just hit Esc after Graphics Test 1 is finished (takes 1 minute) if you don't want to wait for all the tests to complete. Post here the FPS you get in Test 1 as well as the used core & memory clocks. Thank you! Some example reference results: Sajin's Kingpin 1080 Ti 76.17 FPS 2063/+1000mem https://www.3dmark.com/spy/2372047 Titan XP 80.96 FPS 2063/+850mem https://www.3dmark.com/spy/1550209 1080 Ti 71.05 FPS 2088/+700mem https://www.3dmark.com/spy/2859666 Comparison: https://www.3dmark.com/co...py/1550209/spy/2859666 Edit: Some additional Time Spy Extreme (4K) Test 1 results: @ 1950/12000MHz: Sajin's Kingpin 33.35 FPS MSI 30.45 FPS Palit 30.24 FPS -> Kingpin is 9,5%-10,2% faster @ 2012/11000MHz: Sajin's Kingpin 33.68 FPS MSI 30.77 FPS -> Kingpin is 9,4% faster PS. Non-Kingpin 1080 Ti owners can participate too if you want to challenge the results.

Myersjames93 Is your card a kingpin?
Nope, that was on MSI Trio. However I'm considering getting one if this clock-to-clock difference proves real. AHowes Sometimes its not about how high of the clock but just the sweet spot.
I think that applies to memory frequency only. GDDR5X has no ECC but the performance can drop as the frequency approaches unstable threshold or if the power limit is reached and core frequency consecutively reduced.

May be right as I usually test the memory lower then max for the sweet spot.

With the XOC bios. MSI Trio has the sweetest air cooling I've seen.

My fav thing about the kingpin is the sexy copper cooler. Be a first for me on a gpu.

2152MHz @ 1162mV is the max stable on air for benchmarking: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/2816726 +1000 mem is max for benchmark runs when core voltage is 100mV lower. Otherwise memory heats up too much.

Yeah it's about max what a 1080ti on air can do, but the problem is the inexplicable clock-to-clock speed difference. We tested the difference persists even at @ 1950MHz where no hidden power/frequency throttling should occur.

Somehow when you see K|NGP|N (On Sajin's picture) you can't resist. I like so much combination of heatsink color and shroud color. I guarantee EVGA could get 10-12C lower temps with 3 slot cooler, about 1cm wider heatsink and than shroud. But card would be funny. This model of GPU work far better with HydroCopper. GPU behave completely different if temps are below 60C constantly in any situation, idle, benchmark or gaming.

Sajin I'm calling hax.
It seems both Micka ^ duanln results are from the GOC 2017 overclocking competition, and most likely actual core clock is much higher than 2131MHz as LN2 was used.

Sajin I was just about to say the same.
Yeah they must have used all the tricks in the book. For example you can use Afterburner keyboard shortcuts to load profiles and thus change the frequencies mid-run. More likely their reported 2131MHz is just the base clock and not boost one, so the real clock is around 2131+327 = 2458MHz. Same goes for this Kingpin's #1 result too: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/2739749

68.49FPS here on MSI 1080ti vs yours 68.27FPS with the same settings, so looks like the difference is somehow related to Sajin's PC or his mad tweaking skills after all :)
