I am about to go full water cooling on my rig. I just sent my 1080 FTW iCX cards in for step up to the 1080 Ti FE. I thought I might like to use the Hydro Copper blocks when available. I have not followed the Hydro Copper line over the years so I am wondering if anyone knows what the typical release time is for the blocks to be released after new cards are launched.... a few months?

You can order the Titan XP hydrocopper block from EKWB right now. They share the same design.

I know the hydro copper block has not been announced, I was just wondering what the usual time frame is for them to appear as I have not followed any hydro copper releases over the years. If it is within a few months or so, I will wait if not, I have a cart full of stuff at EKWB

I just went with EK this time around, IF EVGA comes out with the GTX 1080Ti HC Graphics Cards I may pick up a pair.

Really? You would spend the money to go from FEs to HCs? Why?

He certainly has a fountain of goods somewhere out there.

OP, I'm also waiting but the last few years, it's usually a few months after the release of the reference.  Usually the reference HC comes out and than comes the Classified HC.

I really hope they've worked on improving their time frames as more competition has entered this space, whether it be other AIB partners to custom water cooling companies.

Well, I am just looking for the HC blocks as I have the FEs on the way. Hopefully sooner than later.
